Privacy & cookies

We never share your email. When you sign up we store how you first arrived, the first page you opened, up to five on-site searches, and the job you were applying for if signup came from Apply, in a first-party cookie for about 30 days that is copied onto your account and not shared with third parties. If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We keep your email address and your Google account ID so we can recognise you next time; we do not store your name or your Google password. If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, topic, message, the time you sent it and a one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself). We use it to reply to your enquiry and to prevent abuse, and delete it after 12 months. If you request Featured, we store your name, work email, company, the listing you name, your message, the time you sent it and a one-way hash of your IP address. We use it to arrange and confirm the Featured listing and to match your payment, and delete it after 12 months. Payments for Featured listings are processed by Stripe Checkout, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number; Stripe tells us the payment amount, your email and the listing you paid for. We keep a record of each payment (date, amount, the listing, your account ID and Stripe's payment reference) for our accounts. If you turn on “Let employers find me” on your account page, we store that choice and when you made it. Employer search is not live yet, so nothing is shared with employers; before it is, we will update this notice and say exactly what employers can see. The setting is off by default and you can turn it off at any time. If you sign up for the weekly jobs email, Zoho Campaigns (Zoho Corporation) stores your email address and any details you add on the sign-up form, and sends the email for us as our processor. We don't copy that list into our own systems, and we never add site accounts to it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and Zoho asks you to confirm your sign-up first. We also run a jobs channel on WhatsApp (a Meta service). If you follow it, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies; we don't see who follows the channel or any follower's details, and we don't collect them. The salary calculator can show one Google AdSense ad; on that page Google's consent message asks for your choice first, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland no ad or advertising cookie loads unless you agree.
